The calm farm simulation Grow a Garden on the Roblox platform took the gaming world by storm this week. The game, which attracts millions of players daily, made a big splash last month by reaching 11 million concurrent players. However, it not only broke this record, but also went a step further, surpassing the long-unbroken Fortnite record.
A Historical Player Record from Grow A Garden
According to the information shared by Gameranx, it was announced in the announcement made by Bloxy New on its X account that Grow a Garden reached exactly 16,411,769 concurrent players on June 14. This figure means that the record of 14,343,880 players set by Fortnite in November 2024 was surpassed.
This success is a new peak not only for Grow a Garden, but also for the entire Roblox platform. On the same day, the total number of concurrent players across Roblox was recorded as 25,810,202.
The success of Grow a Garden was also praised by Splitting Point founder Jandel, who aims to make Roblox more visible in the traditional game development world. Jandel stated that he has been working towards this goal for the last year. In comparison, the highest concurrent player record ever recorded on the Steam platform belongs to PUBG: Battlegrounds, which was limited to only 3.2 million players.
