GTA 6 Performance May Be Compromised on Xbox Series X and PS5

GTA 6 Performance May Also Drop on PS5 Pro Consoles

It was announced that GTA 6 would be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in the fall of 2025. However, according to tech experts at Digital Foundry, GTA 6 is allegedly running at 720p resolution on Xbox Series X, and this performance has been tested on various consoles. “The first official trailer for GTA 6 is a reflection of the fps target for the two consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox X,” the experts say.

The GTA series has a huge fanbase, and those fans have been voicing their concerns about the game’s performance on social media. Xbox Series X/S users in particular are struggling to understand why the powerful console will struggle to run GTA 6 at 1080p. Unhappy with the company’s decision to release the game on Xbox Series X, fans are demanding a better solution.

These performance issues, which have been a big topic of discussion on social media, also extend to PS5 Pro consoles. New theories suggest that GTA 6 won’t run at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles, not even on PS5 Pro. The main reason behind this assumption is the fact that the PS5 Pro’s CPU won’t be a major upgrade over the PS5. “GTA 6 is a technically demanding game and running it at 60 FPS on both consoles is a big challenge,” the experts say.

According to a post made by ‘RedGamingTech‘ on ‘X’, “CPU could be a major issue on PS5 Pro Console.” RedGamingTech also noted that the PS5 is designed to make good use of Ray Tracing and for gamers who prefer graphics over performance, the PS5 Pro could be a good option. But for gamers who prioritize performance, the PS5 Pro could be a disappointment.

GTA 6 is a game that gamers are eagerly waiting for and many gamers want to experience the game with high performance and excellent graphics. However, current leaks and theories suggest that GTA 6 may not live up to these expectations.
