GTA 6’s Revamped Search System Leaked
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto series continue to talk about Rockstar Games’ innovations for GTA 6. Leaked information and the game’s trailer have revealed that the series’ search system, which has been criticized for years, will receive a major update. Players will now encounter a more realistic and complex mechanic where police officers no longer automatically solve all crimes. This innovation seems to add a new dimension to the series’ classic chase scenes and offer players a deeper experience.
Major Changes to the GTA 6 Search System
According to leaked information, police officers in GTA 6 will now need more information to identify criminals. In a scene in the trailer, Jason and Lucia are seen passing by the police without recognizing them after committing a crime. This detail indicates that the police will act based solely on vehicle or person descriptions taken from the crime scene.
A source called Aesthetic Gamer supported these innovations with a leaked image. In the image, the police were seen getting information about the criminals’ escape vehicle during a robbery. This indicates that Rockstar Games has made the search system more dynamic and realistic. In previous games of the series, the police’s immediate recognition of the criminal was criticized. However, GTA 6 aims to offer a more natural game flow with the changes it made to this system.
Rockstar Games plans to further develop the chase scenes in GTA 6. Thanks to the new search system, players will not only have to escape from the police, but will also have to develop strategies such as changing vehicles or leaving the crime scene to cover their tracks. This feature increases the immersion of the game and requires players to plan their every move more carefully.
After GTA 5 was released in 2013, it was a matter of curiosity how much Rockstar Games would raise the bar for the new game. GTA 6 is set to impress players not only with its innovations in the search system, but also with its open-world dynamics and story. Although an official release date has not yet been announced, the game is expected to be released in 2025 or 2026.
