According to preliminary information on the PlayStation Store, Halo: Campaign Evolved will fully support the vibration and trigger effects of the PS5’s DualSense controller. This means the PlayStation version of the game could offer a more immersive haptic experience than the Xbox version. The DualSense’s adaptive trigger resistance, in particular, will give players a different sense of pressure during weapon use and combat, adding further realism to the scene.

On the Xbox front, the situation is a bit different. The Xbox Series X|S controllers use vibration technology called “Impulse Trigger.” However, the variable resistance level and precise vibration system offered by the DualSense goes a step further. The variety of feedback offered by this system on the PS5, in particular, can make combat moments even more impressive.
