Harry Potter Online RPG Leaked
Strong rumors have emerged that Avalanche Software, which achieved great success with Hogwarts Legacy, is working on a new Harry Potter game. According to the leaked information, this game will be an online multiplayer RPG. It is stated that WB Games has expanded Avalanche Software to work on two projects and that this new game will take place in the Harry Potter universe. It is no surprise that the studio continues to focus on Harry Potter-themed projects after the success of Hogwarts Legacy.
Details of the New Harry Potter Game
According to the leaks, Avalanche Software has published job postings to develop an “online multiplayer RPG”. Although the project details are not clearly stated in these job postings, it is thought that this type of game is a different production from Hogwarts Legacy 2. Because Hogwarts Legacy is not an online game.
XOXLEAK, a well-known leaker on the social media platform X, claimed that a test survey was conducted for this new game. The survey asked players to provide feedback on features like menu-based lobbies and customizable character profiles. It also includes details about creating a sense of community within the game, features like badges, characters, and animated backgrounds on the player profile.
The Harry Potter brand is a big deal for WB Games. Hogwarts Legacy is the company’s best-selling game to date, and interest in the Harry Potter universe has skyrocketed again. As such, it seems unlikely that Avalanche Software will be looking to move on to projects outside of Harry Potter. There’s no official word yet on this new online Harry Potter game. However, job postings and leaks strongly suggest that the game is in development.
