Helldivers 2 Is Getting Darker and Scarier

Leaks for Helldivers 2 have revealed that the game will be darker in terms of atmosphere and enemy variety. A golden fog called “Gloom” will cover the planets, severely limiting players’ vision. A new creature type called “Spore Burst” has also been introduced. These creatures explode when they die, scattering spores around them and stunning everything in the area.

New Creatures Added to Helldivers 2

According to the leaks, “Spore Burst” terminids are no longer included in the “predator strain” class. Instead, they are being worked on their own special type. These creatures will appear on planets covered by Gloom. The explosion the creatures create upon death not only stuns, but also deals a small amount of damage.

Information about these new types of creatures was provided by Helldivers 2 dataminer Iron_S1ghts. He shared a gameplay video showing these creatures in the game on a planet called Omicron. In the video, you can see how the creatures work and the dangerous atmosphere of Gloom in detail. However, these posts may be removed by the development team in the coming days.

Gloom in Helldivers 2 will create a truly terrifying atmosphere for players. This golden fog will reduce visibility, making combat more tense. Fighting under the fog will force players to fight not only with the creatures, but also in low visibility conditions.

No release date has yet been announced for future updates to Helldivers 2. However, according to leaks, the new content to be added to the game will push Super Earth soldiers into a more difficult fight. Gamers are eagerly waiting for these innovations to be officially announced.
