Hideo Kojima Surprise for Control Ultimate Edition
Remedy Entertainment has announced a PS5-exclusive update for Control Ultimate Edition. This update includes a mission called “Dr. Yoshimi Tokui’s Guided Viewing Experience” voiced by Hideo Kojima. Previously available only on the PS4 Digital Deluxe edition, this mission will now be accessible to PS5 players. Players will have the opportunity to experience Kojima’s voiced dialogue and guidance thanks to this update.
Hideo Kojima’s Mission Details
In this special mission, players enter a meditation and guidance experience with the character “Dr. Yoshimi Tokui.” The mission fits the main theme of the game in terms of both story and visual atmosphere. Enriched by Hideo Kojima’s voice, this experience offers quite a different content for gamers. The mission takes players on an alternative guidance journey, drawing attention to both the Control universe and Kojima’s well-known style.
This mission was previously only available on the PS4 Digital Deluxe version. However, Remedy has brought this mission to PC and PS5 platforms with a new patch. The update has been released for PC players, and PS5 users will be able to access this content shortly. Remedy states that they need time for these updates, which are carried out by a small team, to be released smoothly.
This update is not limited to just the Kojima mission. Some exclusive content previously available digitally is also being added to the game.
