Hideo Kojima Works Alone on Physint

Hideo Kojima, known as the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, has made an important announcement about his long-awaited new project, Physint. Kojima stated that this action and espionage-themed project is still in the conceptual phase, and that he worked entirely alone in this early phase of the process.

Kojima Releases Single-Player Physint

In an interview with Indie Wire, Kojima stated that Physint is currently in its conceptual phase and that he is progressing alone. The game is described as a cinematic production that will combine action and espionage elements, much like Metal Gear Solid. The producer is working on the project alongside his other projects, including the currently in-development sequel OD and the recently released Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.

Physint marks Kojima’s return to the action-espionage genre after nearly a decade. Fans are eagerly awaiting how the filmmaker’s experience and unique approach will be reflected in the new project. Kojima recently remained steadfast in his responses to questions about the Metal Gear Solid series, and he dismissed the question of whether he would play the Snake Eater remake with a smile.

There’s no official release date for the game. However, expectations are that Physint could be released on a next-generation platform like the PlayStation 6. Given Kojima Productions’ high production values and cinematic narrative style, the project is expected to be technically ambitious as well.

While still in its early stages, Physint has already generated considerable excitement for Kojima fans. More information about the game is expected to be released gradually in the coming years, and the scope of the project will be clarified once full production begins.
