Horizon 3 and Multiplayer Plans Leaked

One of PlayStation’s most beloved series seems to be preparing to return with new projects in the coming years. While rumors about Horizon 3 indicate that this universe is not yet complete, it is claimed that a multiplayer Horizon game, which has been on the agenda for a long time, is also on the way. The new information shared reveals that Guerrilla Games plans to present these two projects in order.

Horizon 3 May Come in 2027, Multiplayer Version Planned Before

According to the information conveyed by TCMF Games, Guerrilla Games is currently working on both Horizon 3 and plans to release a multiplayer Horizon game first. This new online game overlaps with the project signaled in the job advertisements published by the studio in early 2025. The advertisement included the phrase “A Horizon multiplayer vision that will reach 1 million players.”

It is stated that Horizon 3 will be shaped around the previously mentioned Nemesis threat in the series and is being developed with a target date of 2027. In addition, the fact that this date coincides with a possible PS6 release period brings to mind that the game may be a next-generation launch project.

Although Guerrilla Games has not made an official statement, interest in the Horizon universe has not diminished. It is known that the series has sold more than 30 million copies to date and a film adaptation prepared by Netflix is also in development. In light of this information, it seems that the Horizon world will grow even more in the coming years.

While Horizon Online is thought to be released before Horizon 3, it is still unclear when players will see this new multiplayer experience. However, the leaked information clearly shows that Guerrilla Games is working on these two projects simultaneously and aims to open the universe to a wider audience.
