HoYoFair 2024 Details
HoYoFair has become a staple event for Genshin Impact’s most creative players and fans, offering a chance for their work to be officially promoted. The HoYoFair events typically feature a plethora of unique creations from fans, including original animations, musical performances based on the game, and a variety of other content. HoYoFair has even played host to animations featuring non-playable characters, including videos based around the Fatui Harbingers. HoYoverse has now revealed the date for the newest iteration of the highly anticipated fan event.
HoYoverse officially announced the newest HoYoFair event with trailer, showing off a plethora of animations set to be featured during the event. The “Flame Fusion Music and Art Festival” will officially be aired as a Special Program broadcast on September 21, beginning at 7:00 AM EDT. The teaser shows off several creations set to be featured, ranging from Keqing battling with enemies in a modern military setting to a “claymation” style video featuring Lyney, Lynette, Arlecchino, and NPC Clervie. HoYoverse also confirmed the broadcast will air for two hours, twice the length of the previous event.
The wealth of animations coming with the newest HoYoFair event look to feature multiple fan favorite members of Genshin Impact’s playable cast within the creations. Furina is seen as a major character throughout several different videos, with the Hydro Archon naturally being one of Fontaine’s most popular characters. Other beloved cast members like Raiden Shogun and Wanderer are seen multiple times throughout the teased animations. HoYoverse also confirmed the return of “fan-favorite series and programs” from its past HoYoFair events.
The impending arrival of HoYoverse’s next HoYoFair event comes as the RPG has recently given plenty of inspiration to fans. The opening acts of Natlan’s Archon Quest introduced players to a plethora of new characters, with cast members like Mualani, Kachina, and Pyro Archon Mavuika playing major roles in the story. The previously mentioned Fatui Harbingers are also a popular subject for HoYoFair animations, with Natlan finally bringing Il Capitano into the game. HoYoFair should look to be a stunning celebration of Genshin Impact’s passionate and inventive playerbase.
