Hunt’s DeSalle Map Officially Returns!

DeSalle map, which has not been in the game for a long time, is making a comeback, much to the delight of Hunt Showdown fans. The comparative images shared by Crytek via the official X account clearly revealed the changes made to points such as Pelican Island Prison. In its new form, the map looks to have been renewed at a much different level than the others.

DeSalle Map Redesigned for Hunt Showdown 1896

Crytek’s PvE and PvP-based multiplayer game Hunt Showdown was recently updated for the new generation consoles under the name “Hunt Showdown 1896”. With this transformation, a new map called Colorado (Mammon’s Gulch) was introduced, and old maps such as Stillwater Bayou and Lawson Delta were also updated with important changes.

Taking into account the comments of the players, Crytek made improvements that strengthened the atmosphere on each map. However, the DeSalle map, which had been missing for a long time, had not been playable for almost a year. Today, this deficiency was remedied and the renewed version of the map was officially announced.

The changes in the Pelican Island Prison region are especially striking in the shared visuals. In the visual comparing the old and new versions, it is seen that a comprehensive update has been made from lighting to structure details. It seems that DeSalle has undergone a serious transformation in terms of both visual and gameplay.

Hunt Showdown 1896 is currently available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Let us also remind you that the game can be played for free via Game Pass for Xbox and PC users. The aim is to offer a new experience to players with the return of the DeSalle map.
