Hypercharge’s PlayStation Date Announced
Hypercharge, an action-packed shooter where toy soldiers take up arms and fight inside a house, is coming to the PlayStation platform after a long wait. After being released on Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox, it is finally PS4 and PS5 users’ turn. The production team announced that the game will be released on the PlayStation store on May 30, 2025.

Hypercharge first launched eight years ago in early access and established its miniature world after a long development process. Players fight against evil toys and monsters in sections set in home environments. This shooter, which can be played from both first and third-person camera angles, is particularly notable for its blend of nostalgic toy themes with humor.
The game’s developer, Digital Cybercherries, is an independent and small team. The company shared a sincere statement on social media on April 30 that they have come to this point without any publisher or external support. The team, who said, “We made the game we dreamed of playing as kids,” brought this project to life with a team of five.
Hypercharge will be released digitally for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game is priced at $29.99 and can be added to the wishlist on the PlayStation Store right now. The PS5 version of the game is expected to offer higher frame rates and improved visual quality.
With Hypercharge’s PlayStation release, a fun and different experience will be offered to PlayStation users who want to step into the toy-themed action world. Players will now be able to join the battles that take place in the living room, bathroom or garage of the house on their own consoles.
