Games spanning diverse genres and art styles heralded a wave of powerful content for the remainder of 2025 and the first months of 2026. Here’s a comprehensive list of all the games unveiled at the ID@Xbox 2025 event, along with their highlights.
ID@Xbox 2025: All Announcements and New Games
Agni: Village of Calamity
The first game to open the ID@Xbox 2025 showcase comes from Indonesian developer Separuh Interactive. Agni: Village of Calamity tells a psychological horror story that draws the player into a mysterious village. Trauma, guilt, and fear overshadow reality as an inspector named Agni enters a dark world to find his missing partner. The game, notable for its cinematic narrative, will be released in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Darkwood 2
2017’s cult horror game, Darkwood, is being reborn this time by Ice-Pick Lodge. Years have passed since the first game, and the world has been plunged into a dark era left by the collapse of the Soviet Union. Players will face all forms of fear as they try to survive amidst decaying forests and eerie villages. Darkwood 2 will be one of the indie horror games to be added to Game Pass on day one.
Don’t Fret
Don’t Fret, a strange blend of horror and music, tells an unconventional adventure where you play as a guitar. Players will try to survive in a dark and absurd world while solving musical puzzles as the character “Fret.” This experimental production from Scary Kid Studios captures a unique tone with its humorous and terrifying aspects.
Puppergeist
Puppergeist, by Serenity Forge, is a rare game that blends horror and warmth. Players control Claire, a young witch searching for her lost dog. A journey begins in the afterlife, filled with rhythm-based minigames and touching moments. With its sweet yet melancholic atmosphere, Puppergeist is poised to be one of the most endearing indie games expected until 2026.
33 Immortals: Pride and Temperance Update
Thunder Lotus’s mystical action game 33 Immortals is back with a new update. This free content pack, titled Pride and Temperance, refreshes the game with new weapons, an “ordeals” difficulty system, and cosmetics. Players can now choose their own “loadouts” and take risks for higher rewards. The update is available free to Xbox Game Pass users.
Awaysis
Calling itself “The World’s Best Dungeon Brawler,” Awaysis offers a frenetic action experience in a cartoon-style style. Developed by 17-BIT, the game features a red-cloaked character engaged in physics-based combat. Featuring 1-4 player co-op and music by Hip Tanaka, Awaysis is coming to Xbox and Game Pass in 2026.
UnGodly
Azra Games’ dark fantasy RPG, UnGodly, pits players against godlike powers in a devastated universe. With over 20 “primal” characters to choose from, each offering unique abilities. Promising a Souls-like experience with both story and atmosphere, the game will be released for Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2026.
Planet of Lana 2
Wishfully’s beloved platform adventure, Planet of Lana, returns this time with a larger world and story. Players explore new biomes with Lana and her adorable creature, Mui, from the first game. Filled with oceanic landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and city ruins, this sequel advances the series with more complex puzzles and new creatures. It will be available on Game Pass from day one.
Aphelion
DONT NOD’s new sci-fi adventure, Aphelion, presents the struggle for survival on an unknown planet. Two separated astronauts try to find each other amidst deadly anomalies. This game, which blends tension, atmosphere, and emotional narrative, will join the Xbox Game Pass library in 2026.
Vampire Survivors: Ante Chamber Update
Poncle is bringing a new free update to its legendary roguelike game. This additional content, Ante Chamber, includes a crossover with Balatro. While currently in the approval phase for the Xbox version, it is expected to be released soon.
DayZ: Badlands
DayZ is moving to a desert setting this time. With the Badlands expansion, players will try to survive in the war-torn region of Nasdara. This map, where bullets are as valuable as water, will be the largest DayZ region to date. It will be added to Game Pass in 2026.
Superball
Bringing a cyberpunk aesthetic to sports, Superball takes the frenetic energy of Rocket League to another level. The free-to-play game features a football arena filled with superpowered characters. Game Pass holders have instant access to all the heroes.
Invincible Vs: Robot and Monster Girl
Skybound Games’ fighting game, adapted from the Invincible universe, features Robot and Monster Girl. Invincible Vs, notable for its 3v3 team-based combat system, brings the comic book energy to the arena.
Sledding Game
Eye-catching with its simple name, Sledding Game gamifies the peaceful side of snowboarding with friends. Chat, join snowball fights, or sing karaoke in 20-person online arenas. Available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC on day one.
Raw Fury Announcements
Raw Fury is back with three new games: Monsters Are Coming! (November 20, 2025), Dome Keeper (December 9), and Routine (December 4). All three will be added to Xbox Game Pass. Routine, in particular, stood out last month as a sci-fi horror game with an ’80s aesthetic.
Egging On
Egging On, a platformer as intriguing as its name, offers high-challenge, humorous gameplay. Coming to Game Pass on November 6, it offers players the opportunity to push their limits on egg-themed tracks.
Over The Hill
From the Art of Rally team, Over The Hill offers a relaxed exploration experience with nostalgic ’60s and ’80s off-road vehicles. You can journey with friends through real-world mountains and valleys. It will be released in 2026.
TCG Card Shop Simulator
TCG Card Shop Simulator transforms card collecting into management, allowing you to build your own shop. This simulation, where you can set prices and hire employees, brings the spirit of “Supermarket Simulator” to the world of cards. Coming to Game Pass in the first quarter of 2026.
Task Time
Task Time, where chaotic mini-missions turn into a race, offers fun challenges with your friends. Each game, consisting of six random rounds, is filled with absurd challenges. It will be available on Xbox and PC soon.
Mouse P.I. For Hire
The series’ finale, Mouse P.I. For Hire, brings the “rubber hose” animation style to the FPS genre. Developed by Fumi Games, this game is filled with visuals reminiscent of 1930s cartoons. The game, which follows mouse detective Jack Pepper as he tries to solve three major cases in a crime-ridden city, will be released on March 19, 2026.
