Iron Man Game May Be Introduced Soon
EA Motive has shared very little information about the Iron Man game it announced three years ago. However, new information seems to ease this wait a little. It is claimed that the company will reveal details about the game at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) event to be held on March 17, 2025. EA Motive and SEED teams will share their experiences from the Iron Man and Dead Space development processes at a panel they will organize as part of GDC. This event may be an opportunity for the first gameplay footage or new information to come to light.
What is Known About the Iron Man Game
It was previously announced that the Iron Man game would offer an original story independent of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and comics. The game is produced by Olivier Proulx, known for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. In addition, a job posting published in 2023 revealed that the game would have open-world gameplay and offer players non-linear dialogue options.
EA Motive announced last year that the game had successfully completed an important internal phase. However, details such as who will voice Tony Stark, combat mechanics, customization options, or which villains will be featured have not been revealed so far. This month’s GDC event may be an important platform to get answers to these questions.
EA Motive’s panel will take place on March 17 at 09:10 as part of GDC 2025 and will last for one hour. Technical details such as the “Texture Sets” technology used in the development process of the Iron Man game are expected to be shared during the panel. The first information about the Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra game was shared at GDC last year and attracted great attention.
