Is Leon Returning In Resident Evil Requiem?

New developments regarding Resident Evil Requiem have brought a topic that has excited fans of the series back to the agenda. The released trailer for Resident Evil Requiem and some striking details strengthen the possibility of the return of the character Leon.

Hints About Leon in the Resident Evil Requiem Trailer

The new game of the series, Resident Evil Requiem, was announced as part of the Summer Game Fest 2025. In the promotional trailer, players return to Raccoon City and this time Grace Ashcroft is at the center of the story. However, some scenes in the trailer have led to theories that Leon may be included in the story. The display of the Raccoon City Police Department in particular was one of the first details that caught the players’ attention.

A destroyed jeep in the trailer is likened to a vehicle Leon used in the past. In addition, the line heard at the 2:45 second mark, “Are you investigating all these strange deaths?” was interpreted by many players as Leon’s voice. These details were among the elements that increased curiosity about the character’s existence.

The clues are not limited to the trailer alone. Nick Apostolides, who previously voiced the character Leon, has information in his updated resume that he is involved in an unnamed new AAA game. Although it is stated that the name of the production is being kept secret, the work that the actor describes as “Lead_Full P-Cap” bears similarities to his previous performances for Leon. This further increases players’ expectations.

Finally, a source known for his leaks has suggested that Leon will be the real main character of Resident Evil Requiem. Despite the introduction trailer featuring Grace, it is claimed that players will spend more time with Leon in the later parts of the game. All these developments have strengthened hopes for Leon’s return.
