James Gunn Announces Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman Will Take Its Place in the New DC Universe
In his latest statement, James Gunn stated that work on the Wonder Woman film is ongoing. Stating that the story is still in the writing phase, Gunn emphasized that this process is progressing slowly but surely. It was also specifically stated that the film will be independent of the previously announced Paradise Lost series. This shows that the character’s cinematic journey will continue on a new line.
In the new era of DC Studios, Superman, Supergirl, Batman and Wonder Woman would be at the center, as previously stated by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. James Gunn also confirmed this approach, saying that the four characters were considered the building blocks. However, he stated that there was significant progress only in the Superman and Supergirl projects for now, and that the process for Batman and Wonder Woman was at an early stage.
While the details of the film are still confidential, information such as the director, cast or release date have not yet been announced. However, Gunn’s previous mention of working on an unnamed project suggests that he may be personally writing the script for this film. Although no cast has been cast yet, the reconstruction of the character in the universe is being followed with great interest.
