Jocasta Role Announced in Vision Series

Marvel’s Disney+ series Vision has added another remarkable character to its cast. An official statement has been made for the long-rumored role of Jocasta. Known as Ultron’s “AI bride” in the comics, how this character will be positioned in the series has already aroused curiosity. T’nia Miller to Play Jocasta in the Vision Series

According to the news confirmed by Deadline, British actress T’nia Miller will play the character of Jocasta. Miller, who has previously stood out in productions such as Foundation and The Fall of the House of Usher, will play a Jocasta who stands out with her intelligence and desire for revenge in the series. Considering Jocasta’s comic book history, the possibility of the character changing sides in the future is not ruled out.

The Vision series will be the final installment of the trilogy that Marvel started with WandaVision. The series’ executive producer is Terry Matalas, who made a name for himself with Star Trek: Picard. It is already eagerly awaited what kind of vision Matalas, who is also admired by Marvel boss Kevin Feige, will bring to this project.

In the series, where Paul Bettany will return as Vision, James Spader is also preparing to return as Ultron. It is not yet clear whether Ultron, who will be played by Spader, will be in robot or human form. Todd Stashwick, who is joining the series, will play an assassin who is after Vision’s technology.

With Jocasta’s inclusion, the Vision series can turn into a story that will shape not only a character’s inner journey, but also the future position of artificial intelligence in the Marvel universe.
