Killer Inn Closed Beta Test Date Announced

Killer Inn is preparing to offer a multiplayer experience where mystery and action intertwine. Developed in partnership with Square Enix and Tactic Studios, the game received significant community support during its initial testing phase. Now, the official date for the second closed beta has been announced, and players are being invited back. The testing process is planned to include both new participants and existing players.

The second closed beta test will begin on October 3, 2025, and will continue until October 13, 2025. Players who participated in the previous test phase will be automatically invited without any registration. New players can register on the game’s Steam page, and their participation information will be sent to them on October 1.

Square Enix announced that significant updates will be added to the game during this testing period. Gameplay balance adjustments will be made, some design changes will be implemented based on player feedback, and new features will be incorporated into the testing process. This will allow the community to directly contribute to the game’s development.

The new version of Killer Inn will also be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2025. Visitors to the Square Enix booth at the event, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from September 25–28, will be able to play an early preview version of the second closed beta test. Players who try the game at the booth will also receive special invite codes to be used when the testing period begins.

Once completed, the game will be available exclusively on Steam for PC. However, a specific release date has not yet been announced. The development team states that the results of the closed beta will influence this date. Feedback from participants will be the most important factor in shaping the game’s future launch.

Killer Inn stands out with its mysterious atmosphere and multiplayer gameplay. A chain of events unfolds in a murder-ridden inn, where players must both survive and find the killer. This closed beta phase is crucial for shaping the mechanics that will be featured in the final version of the game.
