King Arthur: Legion IX, a turn-based tactical RPG developed by NeocoreGames, will be released on May 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. First released on PC on May 9, 2024, the game returns to the dark Arthurian legend with a new story and different heroes. Along with the console version, players also expect innovations such as performance and quality modes and DualSense vibration support.

Into the Depths of Avalon with King Arthur: Legion IX

King Arthur: Legion IX takes players to the mysterious lands of Avalon through the eyes of Gaius Julius Mento, a tribune of the immortal Ninth Legion. The 15-mission Roman-themed campaign pits tribes, creatures, and Mordred’s Round Table knights against each other. Players face tough decisions and dark choices, with the ultimate goal of regaining humanity or becoming a demon.

The game combines tactical RPG elements with classic role-playing elements. Players who manage a team of 5 to 6 heroes can show their mastery on the battlefield with directional attacks, opportunity strikes, traps and cover. Each hero can be personalized with a deep skill tree and development system. In addition, the absence of permanent death at the end of missions allows for bolder tactics.

Legion IX also offers the task of rebuilding Nova Roma, the only Roman colony in Avalon. Players must strengthen their cities by carefully managing resources and prepare their heroes for different missions. Building the right structures is critical to strategic success.

The PS5 and Xbox Series versions will come with a quality mode that supports 4K resolution and a performance mode that provides smoother gameplay. DualSense features and multi-language support are also waiting for console players. King Arthur: Legion IX is preparing to offer a dark fantasy adventure for those looking for tactical depth.
