Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date Delayed
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 release date has been pushed back to February 11th, 2025. This information first surfaced via Embracer Group’s financial report and was later confirmed by Warhorse Studios in a video posted on social media.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Release Date Delayed to February 11, 2025
The original release date was scheduled for 2024, but the game has been pushed back to Valentine’s Day week. Interestingly, this date is very close to February 13, 2018, the release date of the first game in the series. Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors explained the delay as a necessary step to better polish the game and ensure a proper release window. “Our teams are dedicated to making and delivering better games. Our highly anticipated game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been confirmed for worldwide release on February 11, 2025,” Wingefors said.
In the video released by Warhorse Studios, the message was a bit different. Toby from the development team stated that their goal was 2024, but they didn’t make it: “We almost made it, almost. But almost isn’t good enough, so unfortunately we’ve slipped to 2025. However, at least we now have a real firm release date of February 11, 2025.”
The difference between these two messages is that they are both aimed at different audiences. The financial report was aimed at investors, while the video was aimed directly at fans and offered a more candid explanation.
