Kingdom Hearts 4 Development May Have Speeded Up
Kingdom Hearts 4, which has not been heard from for a long time, remained uncertain for its fans. After the announcement in 2022, Square Enix has been quite secretive about this project and has not conducted open communication like it did with the Final Fantasy 7 series. However, a statement from a voice actor recently gave an important clue about the development process of the game.
Kingdom Hearts 4 May Have Reached the English Voiceover Stage
Voice actor ZaccActs stated in a post on his social media account that he was involved in the English dubbing work for Kingdom Hearts 4. After this statement, fans began to think that the game may be in a much later development stage than expected. ZaccActs confirmed his involvement in the project in his post, but he also clearly stated that he could not give any more information.
There has been no official news about the new game in the Kingdom Hearts series for a long time. However, seven new screenshots released a few weeks ago have revived interest in the series. These images were a compensation for the cancellation of another Square Enix game, Missing Link. With the new statement, the possibility of a new trailer or announcement about the game has become stronger.
In the game world, voice-over work is usually done in the final stages of the development process. Especially in Japanese-made games, English dubbing work starts quite late. Therefore, the fact that this step has already been taken for Kingdom Hearts 4 may indicate that the project is moving away from the blockages called “development hell”. However, it is not known which character ZaccActs will voice in the game.
No official trailer or release date has been announced for now. However, this development indicates that the news that fans have been waiting for for a long time may be shared soon. Possible new announcements from Square Enix may provide more information about the future of the Kingdom Hearts universe.
