[Leak] PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Price Details
A reliable insider leaked PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Price details.
PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Price
Sony announced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection on September 19. Pre-orders for products from the recently revealed lineup are scheduled to open in select countries on Thursday, September 26. But Sony’s announcement did not include any pricing information.
Some pricing details about the upcoming devices has now emerged via Billbil-kun. In their latest report, the insider with a long track record of credible retail insights claimed that the new PS5 Digital Edition bundle announced as part of the collection will be priced at $499.99 in the United States. This would make it $50 more expensive than the regular variant of the discless PS5 model. Sony previously confirmed that the bundle will come with some extra PlayStation merch, including a sticker set, poster, and a paperclip. DualShock 1-style cable connector housing will also be part of the package.
Leaked PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection Prices
- PS5 Digital Edition Bundle – $499.99 / €519.99
- DualSense Wireless Controller – $79.99 / €79.99
- DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, PS5 Pro Bundle – Unknown
The pricing details of the rest of the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products are currently unknown. But if the leaked DualSense price tag is accurate, it’s plausible that the PS1 themed DualSense Edge will also retail for as much as its standard counterpart does, which would be $199.99. Ditto for the limited edition of the $199.99 PS Portal.
The PS5 Pro bundle is hence the biggest remaining unknown; even the regular PS5 Pro will retail for $700, and its limited-edition anniversary bundle will also come with a vertical stand, disc drive console cover, and all the PlayStation merch and accessories included in the PS5 Digital Edition bundle. It is hence quite likely that this mash-up will set consumers back around $799.99.
The official pricement should be confirmed September 26, which pre orders are planned to go live in selected countries. Advanced orders for the PS5 Digital Edition bundle will only be available via PlayStation Direct on that date. Consumers in countries not supported by Sony’s online storefront will get a chance to pre-order the console bundle through participating retailers starting October 10.
