Lies of P DLC Coming in Q1 2025, New Game Confirmed

New content is on the way for Lies of P, one of the most talked about games of the past year. Publisher Neowiz announced that the game’s expansion pack (DLC) will be released in the first quarter of 2025. It also announced that its developer, Round 8 Studio, is working on both a sequel to Lies of P and a new sci-fi horror game.

New Game on the Way from Lies of P Studio

A sequel to Lies of P was previously confirmed, but it has just been revealed that the studio is also working on a separate project. According to Neowiz, “It’s too early to share details about the project,” but “it’s one of the PC and console games that Round 8 Studio is preparing.”

While no specific release date has been given for the DLC, the game’s director Jiwan Choi previously shared an update this year: “For the Lies of P DLC and sequel, we aim to further develop what we’ve done well and improve where there’s room for growth. It may seem simple, but I find it hard to stick to the basics. Luckily, I have great colleagues who I can trust.”

Lies of P was released for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC (Steam) in 2023, and was also available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day. The game, which received a score of 80 for PS5, 83 for PC and 84 for Xbox Series X/S on Metacritic, sold over 1 million copies in its first month, according to Neowiz.

The new DLC and sequel are being developed simultaneously.
