This major content pack is rumored to be the last update before Battlefield 6, scheduled for release on October 10th. According to the leaked information, the new map will be Iwo Jima, an iconic location previously used by the series. While not directly aligned with the Battlefield 2042 universe, this choice will add a nostalgic touch to the series.
Another notable aspect of the update is the inclusion of the Pax Armata faction. Since this faction will be introduced as the main enemy force in Battlefield 6, EA’s move may be aimed at sparking curiosity in players ahead of the new game. This will help establish a connection between the two games.
On the vehicle front, classic, fan-favorite vehicles like the SU-25TM and A-10 return. The A-10’s powerful autocannon, in particular, holds unforgettable memories for series fans. These additions will offer both nostalgia and battlefield variety.
According to the leak, new cosmetic content for the Pax Armata will also be available. This themed pack will be introduced with the message of “a new understanding of warfare” and will offer players the option to join or fight against this faction.
