MindsEye Is Struggling with Launch Issues

MindsEye has finally met with players, but from its first hours on, the game began to be talked about on social media with bugs rather than positive comments. This time, the name MindsEye came to the fore not with expectations, but with technical problems encountered by players.

MindsEye Was Met with Bugs and Reactions

With the game’s release, content spread on social media revealed the technical problems experienced. Deteriorations in character models, sudden hangs, and deformations in facial animations were met with astonishment among players. In many posts, it was questioned why the game had not been postponed in this state, and the price/performance balance was seriously criticized.

Reviews on Steam are also moving in the same direction. While the “mixed” average scores for MindsEye are striking, players mostly mention performance issues. While some comments have positive views on the story, technical deficiencies are at the forefront in general. The game’s official Discord channel has also been criticized for details that give the impression of an unfinished production.

According to SteamDB data, the game’s concurrent player count reached 3,302 on the first day, but this number quickly dropped below 1,000. This drop clearly shows that the experience experienced by players did not meet expectations. There is a general consensus that the game is not ready in technical terms.

The developer studio Build A Rocket Boy made a statement on Reddit after the game was released. In the statement, it was stated that they were aware of the high current system requirements and that they were working intensively on performance improvements. It was announced that the details of the new update will be shared shortly. The future of the game seems to depend on how much the upcoming patch will solve the problems.
