Minecraft holds the title of being the world’s best-selling video game and has sold more than 300 million copies to date. The movie, which aims to bring this popularity to the big screen, reflects the details and game mechanics of the Minecraft universe one-on-one. The trailer shows that the crafting system is compatible with the recipes in the game and that the characters’ creations react in a way that Minecraft players are accustomed to.

The trailer also introduces viewers to the conflict between the Overworld and the Nether. The group, led by Steve (Jack Black), tries to survive by using their creativity while fighting against the dangers coming from the Nether. In addition, villagers and other Minecraft residents encountered in different regions of the Overworld add color to the film.

Along with the film, Mojang and Warner Bros. have also launched a special content campaign for players. Those who buy tickets through Fandango in the USA will win a jetpack add-on that can be used in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. It is stated that this campaign will be implemented in a similar way in other countries.

The final trailer for the Minecraft movie not only gives viewers the Minecraft atmosphere, but also gives clues about the enemies and events that will be encountered throughout the story. At the end of the trailer, a scene where a villager crosses into the real world indicates the possibility of the danger of the Nether exceeding its limits. The Minecraft movie seems to create great excitement in theaters this spring.
