Mount & Blade II: War Sails DLC Announced

TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced the highly anticipated expansion pack for Mount & Blade II: War Sails. Bringing naval battles to the game for the first time, this DLC will be released on June 17. War Sails offers players brand new mechanics such as managing fleets at sea, capturing enemy ships, and applying blockades. In addition, a Viking-inspired northern kingdom and explorable coastal areas are added to the game. With this expansion pack, the world of Mount & Blade II will take on a completely new dimension both on land and at sea.

Mount & Blade II: War Sails DLC

War Sails brings 18 different ship models to the game. These ships have special handling features shaped by details such as wind and wave physics. Players will be able to upgrade their ships, equip them with new weapons, and eliminate enemy ships by ramming them or breaking their oars. In addition, new regions, islands, and rivers in the north expand exploration routes. Players will be able to add a different atmosphere to their games with new Norse-themed characters, armor, weapons and cosmetics.

Along with the release of the DLC, a free 1.3 update will also be released. This update will introduce many new features such as stealth systems for dungeons and hideouts, random events, new weapon types, and improvements to combat mechanics. In addition, story-driven random events will be added to the game in conjunction with the character trait system. More content and tools will be provided for both players and modders.

TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has sold over 5 million copies across all platforms. Players will have the opportunity to discover the excitement of naval battles in this successful series with War Sails. The DLC, which will be released on June 17, is set to expand the game’s world even further.
