NetEase Unveils First Single-Player Game Blood Message
NetEase, generally known for its multiplayer projects in the gaming world, has attracted attention this time by focusing on a completely single-player experience. The new game, called Blood Message, was introduced as the product of 20 years of experience. With its Deep East story, survival struggle and emotional narrative, Blood Message will be NetEase’s first AAA quality single-player adventure.
Blood Message Will Offer Emotional and Survival Theme
The first trailer released by NetEase gives strong clues about what Blood Message will offer. The five-minute promotional video includes both gameplay and cinematic scenes. Players will embark on a difficult journey with an unnamed messenger and his young son, struggling for loyalty and survival.
Blood Message puts players in the middle of the Dunhuang rebellion. Trying to stay loyal to both his family and his country, the character embarks on a dangerous journey to the east to deliver a message that will determine the fate of his homeland. This epic story promises to offer players a touching adventure on a historical background.
The game will have a direct storyline, but will maintain the sense of discovery with sections spread over large areas. In addition, the gameplay, enriched with survival and stealth elements, will bring players together with action-packed moments. Being a different structure from the Soulslike style will make Blood Message stand out in its own field.
Although it has been announced that Blood Message, developed by Thunder Fire Studio, will come to PC and consoles, which consoles it will support and its release date have not yet been clarified. However, NetEase aims to offer a promising project to single-player game lovers with this new step.
