New FPS Game Sydless Introduced
Developed by French game studio Opia Games, Sydless is an interesting twist on the classic movement-based FPS genre. This fast-paced game, which gives players a deadly ball that accelerates by bouncing instead of a gun, will be released for PC via Steam in 2026.
Sydless Draws Players into a Chaotic Loop
Sydless offers gameplay based entirely on momentum and skill. The main weapon, the bouncing ball, gains speed with the player’s punches and quickly turns into a destructive project. This weapon system, combined with classic FPS mobility, keeps the action constantly high throughout the game.
In the game, we play a character named Diego; he is an ordinary person working at a fast-food chain called Rundy’s Burger in the late 90s. However, the character, who is stuck in an anomaly, tries to survive in a restaurant that constantly changes shape and becomes increasingly frightening. As the places move away from reality, the customers encountered also turn into terrifying creatures.
In Sydless, players not only attack, but also have to escape from enemies with agile movements, explore the places and develop new strategies by skillfully using the ball in each area. It is possible to control the speed of the ball and turn it into a deadly weapon in the rooms.
The game consists of four sections and each section unlocks new abilities, allowing the player to further develop their movement skills. There is a ranking system according to speed and skill in each level. As players try to master each stage, they question whether they can escape the time loop they are in.
