New Frostpunk Game Coming in 2027

Now, this universe is back on the agenda. 11 Bit Studios announced through its official financial report that it is working on a new Frostpunk project. Moreover, the wait for this new production seems to be shorter than expected.

Frostpunk Universe Returns in 2027

11 Bit Studios announced that the new Frostpunk game is planned to be released in 2027. The company stated that it made this decision as part of its strategy to take advantage of financially attractive opportunities in the near term. This new production, which will return to the Frostpunk universe, is expected to offer a different gameplay or story while maintaining the series’ well-known atmosphere.

The studio also announced that it has started developing another larger project. However, the release date for this project was announced as 2029. This shows that 11 Bit Studios plans to come up with projects with different scales and timelines in the coming years.

The company’s near-term plans do not only include developments related to the Frostpunk universe. While Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is expected to be released this summer, The Alters will be on the market on June 13. The Alters will also be included in Xbox Game Pass from day one and will be playable on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.

All these statements show that 11 Bit Studios is making strategic preparations for the upcoming period and that the Frostpunk universe is not over yet.
