007 First Light Game is on the way
Looking to make a fresh start for James Bond in video games, IO Interactive has released the first teaser for its upcoming 007 First Light. The image features a showy character in a trench coat with an upturned collar and a handgun surrounded by beams of light. Audiences get a first look at what could be the official game title font, paired with the iconic golden 007 logo. According to the biography of the new 007 First Light social media account, the game is “a James Bond origin story” that will test players’ ability to “earn the number.” IO Interactive has been praised for its Hitman World of Assassination triology, which itself draws inspiration from James Bond, and audiences are hoping for a similarly thrilling spying experience with 007 First Light.
Included in the image teaser for 007 First Light is mention of an upcoming game reveal, which could be referencing Summer Game Fest 2025, as the event has already confirmed the presence of IO Interactive among the many participants. Whether this will be a trailer or more images remains to be seen, but James Bond fans will likely want to tune in to Summer Game Fest and will want to follow along for any updates on the game.
