New Leak About Fallout 3 Remastered
Fallout 3 Remastered rumors are swirling again. However, this time, the news isn’t promising. Reliable leaker Nate The Hate has claimed that Bethesda will not announce Fallout 3 Remastered at Fallout Day 2025, which will be held on October 23rd. The fact that Bethesda’s post included the phrase “news regarding existing Fallout games” further reinforces the validity of this claim.
Fallout 3 Remastered Announcement Not Expected on Fallout Day 2025
Released in 2008, Fallout 3 was a significant milestone in the series’ history as the first mainline Fallout game developed by Bethesda. Selling over 12 million copies, the game has become a legend in the RPG genre. Players have long wanted to see a remastered Fallout 3 with modern graphics. FTC documents released during Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard even leaked that Bethesda was planning a remaster.
However, according to Nate The Hate, these plans aren’t ready to be announced yet. When asked by a follower about the Fallout Day event, Leaker responded, “I’d be surprised if Bethesda announced it this early.” This statement aligns with official statements that the event will focus solely on existing games. It appears Fallout 3 Remastered will remain on the waiting list for some time.
This is even more surprising considering Bethesda’s massive success with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. The remastered version of Oblivion reached over four million players in just three days after its surprise release. Such enthusiasm suggests similar potential for a remake of Fallout 3.
Although Bethesda hasn’t officially announced the project yet, rumors suggest the game is still in development. Previous reports indicated that Fallout 3 Remastered was scheduled to release around the same time as The Elder Scrolls VI, around 2026 or 2027. It looks like Fallout fans will have to be patient for a while longer.
