New Metal-Spirited Game Devil Jam Announced

Rogueside has officially announced Devil Jam, a new action game developed in the “Survivors-like” genre. The game, which takes players to a crazy heavy metal world in hell, draws attention with its rhythm-synchronized fighting mechanics and hand-drawn animations. The game promises dynamic gameplay with enemies that move with the music, a unique 12-slot inventory system, and unlimited building options.

Rhythm and Action Meet in Hell with Devil Jam

The story of Devil Jam begins with a deal made by a musician who lost his fame with the devil. After the hero gives his guitar to the devil and signs a contract for a concert, he finds himself in hell. Here, he fights against armies of fans, angry crowds, and rival musicians with music. The ultimate goal of the game is to defeat the legendary metal singer named Death and become the new king of hell.

The gameplay structure is different from classic survival games. Rhythm-based enemy attacks require the player to plan their attacks in sync with the music. This takes Devil Jam beyond being an action game and turns it into a musical struggle. The hand-drawn visuals add punk and metal aesthetics to the hellish atmosphere and strengthen the game’s style.

The development team announced that Devil Jam will first be released for PC in the third quarter of 2025, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch versions to be released later. The game’s Steam page has already been opened and can be added to the wishlist. Devil Jam is a candidate to attract both music and action enthusiasts, especially with its rhythm-based mechanics. New trailers and gameplay details are expected to be shared until the game’s release.
