PlayStation State of Play Broadcast on June 4th
A statement made on the PlayStation Blog stated that the broadcast will focus on “must-play” games from studios around the world. It was also emphasized that this broadcast will not be exclusive to a single game. Instead of a single-title presentation like the Borderlands 4 broadcast held in April, updates on multiple productions are expected.
It is possible that new details will be shared about Ghost of Yotei, which was developed specifically for PS5, in the new broadcast. Sucker Punch had previously stated that they took into account the “repetitive content” criticisms directed at Ghost of Tsushima and that they would offer a richer open-world experience in the new game.
In addition, the fact that Kojima Productions will hold a separate event for Death Stranding 2 this weekend raises the possibility that a short promotional video for this game may also be included in the State of Play. Some players are waiting for a release date announcement for the Wolverine game. Although it is not yet clear which games will be included, it is certain that the broadcast on June 4 will contain important announcements for PS5 players.
