New Roadmap Announced for Dying Light: The Beast

Following its successful launch, Techland is moving forward with long-term content support for Dying Light: The Beast. The studio has shared a new 11-week roadmap that will shape the game’s future. This plan includes both innovations that will deepen gameplay and community-focused events. The global event “Call of the Beast,” in particular, will allow players to come together to earn special rewards.

Dying Light: The Beast Gets Powered by New Content

One of the most notable additions to Techland’s announced roadmap is the long-awaited New Game+ mode. This feature will allow players to re-experience the story with different strategies. Difficulty levels like Legend Levels and Nightmare Difficulty are also returning. These elements from the first game in the series will provide a much more challenging challenge for experienced players.

There are also significant improvements on the technical side. The studio is adding ray tracing support to the PC version and introducing new finishing animations for weapon use. Additionally, a special partnership with PUBG Mobile will offer players unique content. Details of this partnership have not yet been announced, but according to the roadmap, the partnership will last until January 2026.

The “Call of the Beast” community event is poised to completely change the dynamics of the game. The event, which began on October 16th, will run until January 7th, 2026, offering a new challenge every Thursday. Players can earn Epic and Legendary rewards by completing weekly missions. Those who complete at least 17 of the 22 missions will gain access to a secret Legendary Reward.

Techland says this roadmap is just the beginning. The company is planning more content and technical updates for Dying Light: The Beast in the coming months. It appears the fight for survival against zombies will continue unabated throughout 2026.
