New Splinter Cell Signal From Ubisoft
The Splinter Cell brand, which has been silent for a long time, has started to be talked about again thanks to a remarkable post by Ubisoft. This development, which has excited fans of the series, strengthens the possibility that a possible return may be announced soon.
Splinter Cell May Be Coming Back
Ubisoft shared an iconic image featuring Sam Fisher just days before the Summer Game Fest event. This post, which was made with the hashtag “Splinter Cell,” featured a familiar scene from the Chaos Theory game. This image, which shows Sam Fisher’s stern gaze and high-tech background, was interpreted as a strong signal that the series could be reborn.
Although this post by the company seems to contradict Ubisoft’s absence from Summer Game Fest partners, it suggests that an independent announcement may be on the way. In addition, the fact that no Ubisoft Forward event has been announced for 2025 indicates that the announcement may be made at an unexpected time. All these developments show that the highly anticipated remake project may finally come to light.
The Splinter Cell Remake project, which is still on Ubisoft Toronto’s homepage, first entered the development phase in 2021. No concrete information has been shared since then, and this is the most striking move so far regarding the project. This post, which especially includes references to the classic episodes of the series, gives the impression that the promotional process has begun.
Ubisoft, which could not find what it expected from projects such as Skull and Bones and XDefiant in recent years, managed to attract attention again with Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Therefore, bringing back a strong brand that is connected to nostalgia may be a strategic step to increase the company’s prestige. If predictions are correct, Splinter Cell could be back on the scene very soon.
