New Terminator Game Might be Leaked
Unannounced Terminator game called Terminator 2D: No Fate has leaked via published age rating. Looks like the mysterious entry will add another experience to Terminator games.
New Terminator Game
The history of Terminator games is nearly as old as the franchise itself. First started with DOS action adventure The Terminator, developed and published by Bethesda Softworks in 1991, seven years after the first film. Over two dozen Terminator games for everything from PC and consoles to arcades and pinball machines have followed over the next three decades.
Yet another game based on the iconic sci-fi franchise now seems to be on the horizon, according to a recent addition to the Australian Classification Board (ACB) database. The December 19 listing, first spotted by Gematsu, references a game called Terminator 2D: No Fate, which is described as being developed and published by Reef Entertainment. The British company was already involved in one video game adaptation of this IP, having served as the publisher for the 2019 open-world shooter Terminator: Resistance, developed by Polish studio Teyon.
The title mentioned in the newly emerged listing suggests that No Fate will be a 2D game, so presumably nothing like Terminator: Resistance. The ACB gave the unannounced game a Mature (M) rating, which is one level below the Mature Accompanied (MA 15+) classification that the same regulator attached to Reef Entertainment’s first Terminator game.
The recently spotted age rating also indicates that Terminator 2D: No Fate is planned to launch on a wide variety of systems. The PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC are all listed under the game’s supported platforms.
