New Xbox Showcase Coming Soon: Here’s What to Expect
Microsoft will hold its second major Xbox Showcase event planned for 2025 on February 24. The event, which will open IGN Fan Fest, will feature new game announcements, projects from independent studios, and eye-catching trailers. The company is expected to announce more surprises at this event after Ninja Gaiden 4 and other projects it announced last month.
Independent Studios and New Announcements at Xbox Showcase
Xbox Showcase will highlight not only Microsoft’s big games, but also projects from independent studios. Well-known indie developers such as Raw Fury, Team 17, Akapura, and 11 Bit are expected to introduce their new games at the event. In addition, a new collaboration will be announced regarding the project called “Balatro”, which Microsoft has allegedly been working on for a while.
Last year’s Xbox Showcase events introduced major productions such as World Of Warcraft: The War Within, Doom: The Dark Ages and Fable. This year, there is a possibility of seeing new details from highly anticipated projects such as Gears of War: E-Day.
It is noteworthy that Microsoft has recently offered more cross-platform games with PlayStation. While it was announced that Forza Horizon 5 will be coming to PS5, rumors that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will also be adapted for PlayStation have intensified. New statements may be made about these collaborations during the Xbox Showcase.
During the event, trailers and gameplay footage of the games to be announced are expected to be shared. New details of major productions such as Doom: The Dark Ages and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may come to light. The Xbox Showcase will offer gamers a full content on February 24. All details about the games and projects that Microsoft will announce will be clarified during the event.
