Recent events like Game Pass price increases, some game cancellations, and Halo’s arrival on PlayStation have negatively impacted brand perception. Therefore, free multiplayer support could be a major recovery step for Xbox.

According to Corden’s report, the new system will function more like a Windows-based PC than a traditional console. The Xbox ecosystem is expected to be fully integrated with the Windows architecture, allowing players to experience both the flexibility of a PC and the practicality of a console on the same device.
