Nintendo Direct Will Be Held In July 2025

Nintendo has been keeping its new game plans largely secret since the launch of the Switch 2. However, recent leaks suggest that this silence will be broken with a Nintendo Direct broadcast in July. This news has players quite excited, especially after major titles such as Mario Kart World and the upcoming Donkey Kong Bananza.

Which Games Will Be in the Nintendo Direct?

Wood Hawker, the owner of the BeatEmUps channel known for its Nintendo content on YouTube, claimed in the latest episode of his podcast Nontendo that a Nintendo Direct will be held in July. Although Hawker did not share his source, he suggested that this broadcast will include some surprises. According to the claim, Pokémon Colosseum, a GameCube-era game, will be released suddenly on the Switch 2. It is also rumored that Metaphor: ReFantazio, Death Stranding Director’s Cut and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also be coming to the new console.

The release date of Metroid Prime 4 is also expected to be announced during the Direct broadcast. In addition, it is rumored that a teaser card will be shown that the Animal Crossing series will return with a new game in 2026. Although Hawker emphasized that all this information is not definitive, this news has already attracted the attention of Nintendo fans.

It is not yet known whether the Nintendo Direct in July will be broadcast before or after Donkey Kong Bananza’s release on July 17. However, it seems that Nintendo’s roadmap for the rest of the year for Switch 2 will be clarified at this event. Players will be watching for official announcements from Nintendo in the coming weeks.
