Nobody 2 Trailer Released
On the surface, an ordinary family man, in reality a former assassin with a deadly past… The highly anticipated first trailer for Nobody 2 starring Bob Odenkirk has finally been released. As in the first film of the series, the character Hutch Mansell is once again confronted with the darkness from his past. The action dose increases even more in this sequel, and stars are joining the cast.
Nobody 2 Returns to Settle Old Scorebacks
Bob Odenkirk, who plays the character Hutch Mansell, brings his assassin instincts, which were triggered after the home invasion he experienced in the first film, into play for a much bigger showdown this time. The trailer reveals that Mansell’s quiet life is falling apart again, while also drawing attention to the character’s ties to his family.
As in the first film, Connie Nielsen returns as Hutch’s wife Becca, and this time Sharon Stone joins the cast with a strong character. Also, important names such as Christopher Lloyd, RZA and Colin Hanks are in the cast.
This time, Timo Tjahjanto is in the director’s chair of the film. The Indonesian director, who made a name for himself with productions such as “The Night Comes for Us” and “May the Devil Take You,” brings a different breath to the series. The script is written by Derek Kolstad, who wrote the first film, as well as Bob Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem. In addition to Odenkirk, experienced names such as Marc Provissiero, Braden Aftergood, Kelly McCormick and David Leitch serve as producers.
The first film, which was released in 2021, achieved considerable success by grossing $57 million worldwide. Odenkirk explained in an interview at the time that the character in the film was inspired by his own home invasion experience and that the role had a therapeutic effect on him. Nobody 2, where the action gradually increases, will be in theaters on August 15. The trailer has already started to raise excitement.
