NVIDIA Ready to Unveil RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti Models
NVIDIA, which has an important place in the graphics card market, plans to introduce the new generation RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti models. It is stated that the company will announce these two models in the next 10 days. In this context, it is claimed that the RTX 5060 series will be released in three different variants: RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB and RTX 5060. The new models are expected to use the architecture called “Blackwell”. In particular, it is said that the RTX 5060 Ti will have a TDP of 180W and will come with two different memory options. NVIDIA is expected to increase competition in the mid-segment graphics card market with this announcement.
NVIDIA RTX 5060 Series Features
NVIDIA aims to offer a balance between performance and energy efficiency with the RTX 5060 series. The RTX 5060 Ti is said to come with 16GB and 8GB GDDR7 memory options and will have a 128-bit memory bus. It is also claimed that the series will use the GB205 and GB206 GPUs.
The standard RTX 5060 model is expected to come with only 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. It is stated that this model will attract attention with its lower power consumption and will maintain the 128-bit memory bus. NVIDIA is expected to launch this series in April 2025.
This move by NVIDIA coincides with a period when AMD is preparing to launch the RX 9060 and RX 9060 XT models in the same segment. AMD is also expected to offer 8 GB and 16 GB memory options in a similar way. This will further intensify the competition in the mid-range graphics card market.
The RTX 5060 series is aimed to contribute to NVIDIA maintaining its leadership in the mid-range segment. While the company plans to appeal to a wider user base with the new models, the reaction of other players in the market is eagerly awaited. More information about pricing and sales dates is expected to be shared after NVIDIA’s official announcement.
