NVIDIA RTX 4060 Takes Top Spot Among Steam Users
The NVIDIA RTX 4060 was announced as the most popular graphics card in Steam’s February 2025 hardware survey. Leaving the RTX 3060, which had been at the top of the list for years, the RTX 4060 became the favorite of gamers with a usage rate of 8.57%. This result once again showed how popular NVIDIA’s XX60 series is among users.
NVIDIA RTX 4060 and User Trends
According to the Steam hardware survey, the NVIDIA RTX 4060 attracted great attention from users with both its performance and price. The RTX 3060 came in second with a rate of 6.87%, while almost all of the top 10 places were made up of NVIDIA RTX series cards. Only the GTX 1650 managed to make it into the top 10 as an older-generation card.
AMD Radeon cards, on the other hand, could not make it into the top 10 of Steam’s most popular hardware list. Despite being AMD’s most popular graphics card, the Radeon RX 6600 failed to make the expected impact on the list. NVIDIA’s strong position in the RTX series is explained by the adoption of technologies such as ray tracing and DLSS by gamers.
NVIDIA’s XX60 series has been the first choice of gamers for many years. The RTX 4060 stands out with its better power efficiency and improved performance compared to previous-generation cards. This has been an important factor in accelerating users’ transition to the new generation graphics cards.
