Oblivion Remake Images Leaked

The long-rumored Oblivion Remake project is back on the agenda. In a folder spotted on the website of Singapore-based developer Virtuos Games, some images labeled “Elder Scrolls IV” and “Oblivion” were made accessible for a short time. These contents, discovered by Reddit user Taurnil, were later removed, but the file names are still on the site, drawing attention. Although there are doubts about the authenticity of the images, the leaks are likely to be true.

Imperial City and Oblivion Gate Appeared

The released images include the Imperial City, the capital of Cyrodiil, as well as the iconic Oblivion gate in flames. The presence of an image titled “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered” also reinforces claims that the project may not be just a graphical refresh. Previous rumors suggested that extensive changes would be made to the stealth, durability and defense mechanics of the original 2006 game.

It is thought that Virtuos Games is aware of this situation, as the leaked files were removed very quickly. Although the images are no longer accessible on the site, some users managed to share these contents on platforms such as Imgur. Although the possibility that the images are fake is low, it is still not completely excluded. You can click here to access the images.

Bethesda has not made an official statement on the subject. In a short statement made by the company’s support unit, it was stated that “There is no official information about Oblivion Remake.” However, the possibility of an early introduction after such leaks is not ruled out.

The remake of Oblivion has been expected for a long time. If the accuracy of the images is confirmed, this project could mean an exciting return for Elder Scrolls fans. Developments are expected to become clear soon.
