Palworld Feybreak Announced
Palworld has received numerous updates since launching in early access in mid-January 2024. Most recently, the game’s 0.3.12 patch rolled out across all platforms on December 3. Pocketpair is now looking to follow up on that release with another Palworld update in the form of Feybreak, which was announced at the 2024 edition of The Game Awards on December 12.
Following up on the TGA 2024 trailer, Pocketpair shared a few more details about Feybreak, confirming that the incoming update will expand Palworld’s roster of Pals and even introduce more buildings. New game mechanics will also be part of the package, the Japanese developer said, albeit without elaborating on the matter. Regarding new weapons, the TGA 2024 promo teased armaments that seem to resemble the M1 Garand, AK-47, a plasma minigun, and some kind of submachine gun, as well as a plasma sword.
Feybreak will be largely be focused on a new map, which will arrive in the form of an island that’s officially touted as being six times bigger than the map from Palworld’s Sakurajima update, which rolled out to PC and console players in late June 2024. The trailer unveiled at the latest Game Awards showcased glimpses of the upcoming map, hinting that the Feybreak Island will offer a diverse range of environment designs.
Pocketpair hasn’t yet shared the complete changelog to accompany the newly announced content drop. But if the company’s track record is any indication, the patch notes detailing the next Palworld update are most likely to be released alongside the update itself. Based on what the Japanese developer revealed so far, Feybreak could very well end up being the biggest Palworld update to date.
