Path of Exile 2’s Early Access Fee Didn’t Deter Players

Path of Exile 2 will be free to play when it is officially released. However, it currently costs around £24 (200 TL) to access early access. Despite this, millions of players seem ready to pay this fee to get early access to the game. The game had already announced that it had sold 1 million copies before it was released into early access. This figure is expected to rise much higher in the coming days.

Although not a direct comparison, Blizzard’s recently released Diablo IV fell far behind Path of Exile 2 with 55,561 concurrent players. This shows how much interest Path of Exile 2 has received. Players say that the game has more than met their expectations with its rich content, advanced graphics and smooth gameplay.

One of the most important factors underlying the popularity of the Path of Exile series is undoubtedly its free-to-play nature. Players do not have to pay any fee for the basic game experience. Cosmetic content can be purchased optionally. This model is very positively received by players and allows the game to reach a wide audience.

Path of Exile 2 has proven how successful a production it is by breaking records even in its early access phase. It seems that it will continue to be one of the most played and talked about games by players in the coming days. It is obvious that it will make a completely different impact when it is officially released.
