Patrick Star debuts with his first video game
Developed by Outright Games under license from Paramount Game Studios, the new video game “The Patrick Star Game” is the first time we see Patrick Star in the lead role. Set in the iconic world of Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, this single-player sandbox game offers players a fun and creative experience in Bikini Bottom. The game will launch on October 4, 2024 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
The Patrick Star Game: Chaos and Comedy in Bikini Bottom
The Patrick Star Game allows players to explore Bikini Bottom as a playground and complete missions given to them by Patrick’s friends. Players will engage in a variety of crazy activities, from tasks such as “Crab Burger construction” to “creating chaos in Mrs. Puff’s rage room”. Collect jars of mayonnaise to unlock new outfits and find the familiar Easter Eggs from the TV series in this physics-defying, hilarious sandbox adventure.
The game will feature the original voices of Bill Fagerbakke, the voice of Patrick Star, and other iconic characters. “’The Patrick Star Game’ honors the show’s zany humor and lovable characters while creating an interactive playground where fans can create their own adventures in Bikini Bottom,” said Stephanie Malham, General Manager of Outright Games.
