Despite negative feedbacks, Payday 3 developers clearly has big plans for the game, so they did release roadmap. This announcement lists four major DLC expansions planned for Payday 3, to be released over the course of a year following the game’s launch.
So far, there is no confirmed information about the content each DLC pack will contain, beyond their names: Syntax Error, Boys in Blue, The Land of the Free, and Fear and Greed. This roadmap seems to line up with previously announced Payday 3 content plans.
In addition to the major DLCs, the roadmap also promises a variety of additional content to be released during the same time frame. These offerings include seasonal events, new playable characters, skills and weapons, cosmetic items, and more.
Fans of the franchise will recognize similarities to the types of content that has been released for Payday 2 over the years, and will no doubt be eager to see how the content in Payday 3 improves on its predecessor.
Payday 3 releases on September 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
