PlayStation State of Play June 2025: All Announcements

The PlayStation State of Play June 2025 event opened an exciting window into the future of the PS5. From the James Bond universe to Silent Hill, from the Marvel fighting game to the Final Fantasy classics, many new titles were introduced. Here are all the announced games and their details:

A Young Bond is Coming from 007 First Light

Developed by Hitman studio IO Interactive, 007 First Light will tell the story of young James Bond at the beginning of his career. Lennie James, whom we know from The Walking Dead series, will also play a major role in the game.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Announced

Guilty Gear developer Arc System Works has announced the 4v4 Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls for PS5 and PC. The game is coming in 2026 and stands out with its dynamic team fights.

Silent Hill f Returns with a Release Date

Silent Hill f, a horror game set in 1960s Japan, is coming out on September 25, 2025. The game’s new trailer has revealed the horrors that await players in the foggy town of Ebisugaoka.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is Coming

Legendary strategy RPG Final Fantasy Tactics is coming to PS5 on September 30, 2025. Both the classic version with original graphics and the new version with improved audio and modern interface will be available.

Nioh 3 Announced, Demo Released Today

The third game in the Nioh series has been officially introduced. A demo for the game, which is expected to be released for PS5 in early 2026, was also presented to players after the event.

New Trailer from Metal Gear Solid Delta

The new trailer for the Snake Eater remake also shows off the iconic Snake vs. Monkey mode. The trailer ends with hints about the camouflage system.

Ghost of Yotei Special Event in July

It was announced that Ghost of Yotei, which was shown with a short trailer, will have a special State of Play event in July and the game will be released on October 2, 2025.

Five New Episodes and Bots Coming to Astro Bot

Five new “Vicious Void Galaxy” levels and special bots will be added for Astro Bot in July. There’s also a special DualSense controller with a different touch panel.

Lumines Arise Coming to PS5 and PS VR2

A new Lumines game is coming from the developer of Tetris Effect. Lumines Arise will be released for PS5 and PS VR2 in Fall 2025. Single and multiplayer demos will be available in the summer.

Pragmata Resurfaces

Capcom’s mysterious space game Pragmata is back with a new gameplay trailer. The game, which will be released in 2026, will feature a system where players can control two characters at the same time.

Thief Series Returns with VR

The Thief series is coming to PS VR2 with its new game. The classic gameplay focused on stealth, archery and theft will be even deeper this time with virtual reality.

Romeo Is a Dead Man Comes with Crazy Action

Romeo Is a Dead Man from Grasshopper Manufacture is coming to PS5 in 2026. In the game, we control Romeo Stargazer, who fights intertemporal criminals.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Collection Introduced

Focusing on the origins of the Mortal Kombat series, this collection comes to PS5 and PS4, enriched with design documents and concept art alongside old games.

Project Defiant: Sony’s Wireless Fight Stick

Sony has announced Project Defiant, the first wireless fighting controller compatible with PS5 and PC. The device stands out with its ultra-low latency PlayStation Link technology.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Coming in July

Sword of the Sea, the new game from developers we know from Abzu and The Pathless, will be added to the PS Plus game catalog and released on August 19, 2025.

Sea of Remnants Announced

Sea of Remnants is introduced as a looping adventure and survival game set on the sea. Players will embark on an endless journey as an amnesic sailor.

Cairn Coming to PS5 in November

Mountaineering survival game Cairn will be released on PS5 on November 5, 2025. The demo version is available for download starting today.

Digimon Story Time Stranger Gameplay Trailer Released
