Pokémon Presents Will Lock Screens on Tuesday

The Pokémon universe is entering another exciting period. The Pokémon Company’s announcement of the new Pokémon Presents broadcast has already generated excitement for fans. The broadcast will be significantly longer than previous broadcasts, further increasing expectations for the content. A musical pre-show featuring Pikachu is planned just before the event. While the games and projects featured in the broadcast haven’t been announced, it’s believed new details about Pokémon Legends Z-A will be shared.

Pokémon Presents Event Will Revitalize the Pokémon World

Pokémon Presents, taking place on Tuesday, July 22nd, will be broadcast on YouTube and will last over 24 minutes. This makes it one of the longest broadcasts in recent years. For example, the February 2024 broadcast was only 13 minutes long. This difference alone has increased interest in the broadcast.

Ahead of the event, it was also announced that The Pokémon Company will present a Pikachu-themed music show. This mini-concert, titled “Everyone Gather! DJ Pikachu Live,” will begin exactly an hour before the broadcast. The company’s use of Pikachu in this way suggests that the presentation will focus not only on gaming but also on entertainment.

There’s no definitive information about the content that will be included in the presentation. However, the vast majority expect new information to be shared about Pokémon Legends Z-A, scheduled for release in October 2025. The announcement that the game will be playable at Gamescom further reinforces this expectation.

Furthermore, 2026 marks Pokémon’s 30th anniversary. Therefore, while no announcements regarding the series’ 10th-generation games are expected, it’s rumored that the presentation may contain hints about future plans. Fans who have been waiting for a major main series game for a long time won’t want to miss this broadcast.
